Mehmet Uzun (English)
 Mehmet Uzun was born in a village of Palu in 1956. He finished primary school in his own village (Ardurek/ Gökdere). He has begun to his secondary education in Elazig in 1968. He studied at the Academy of Sciences for Economy and Trade in Bursa between military fascist dictatorship in Turkey. He has been living in Sweden since 1990 as a political refugee. He is married and has a son, Miran. Mehmet Uzun has written various articles and some folders in Turkish, Kurdish (in both Zazaki and Kurmanci) in many newspapers and magazines by signatures and without signatures. Some of thse pen names (signatures) are Selim Murat, Nedim Cihat, M.Zaza, Serhat and Rodi. He has written mostly on political, economical, cultural and linguistic subjects. He has been continuing his political and cultural activities in the exile. Mehmet Uzun is one of the members of editorial committee of the linguistic and cultural Zazaki written magazine Vate.
